Bulk Collection Update for all Communities in Eastern Newfoundland
As the COVID-19 Alert Level in Newfoundland and Labrador was reduced to Level 3 by the Chief Medical Officer of Health on June 8, 2020, bulk waste collection will resume on June 15, 2020.

Waste Recovery Facilities in Bay Bulls, Renews-Cappahayden, Placentia, St. Joseph’s, Cavendish, Old Perlican, Harbour Grace, Sunnyside, Whitbourne, and Clarenville will be reopening using a phased approach.

Waste Recovery Facilities will close March 26, 2020 in response to COVID- 19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety of employees and the public who avail of our services continues to be our top priority. To reduce the risk of exposing staff and residents to the virus, we have made the decision to close Waste Recovery Facilities until further notice.

Tipping fee increase deferred until August 1, 2020
We are pleased to advise that the City of St. John’s has deferred the tipping fee increase scheduled to come into effect April 1, 2020 at Robin Hood Bay Regional Landfill site to August 1, 2020.

Bulk Collection cancelled until further notice
All Bulk Garbage Collections scheduled by ERSB are cancelled until further notice. This difficult decision has been made to help protect our contractors and ensure proper social distancing requirements are met.
