How It Works:
Getting involved is simple:
- Plan your clean-up event
- Register at least seven (7) business days in advance
- Collect litter and debris from public spaces
- Drop off materials, as scheduled at the designated facility
Each registered group will receive:
- 100 clear garbage bags
- A box of disposable gloves
This program supports clean-ups of public spaces, including:
- Parks
- Roadsides and ditches
- Beaches
- Trails and green spaces
Each community may host one (1) clean-up event per year, with a limit of 20 pickup truck loads per event.
We recommend that interested individuals and groups team up and coordinate with your community.
Important Guidelines:
- Only litter and debris from public clean-ups are accepted
- Waste must be dropped off on your scheduled day during facility hours
- All materials must be unloaded by hand and sorted if required
- Loads must be covered and comply with highway safety regulations
Materials not accepted:
- Household garbage or recyclables
- Commercial or business waste
- Hazardous, regulated, or liquid waste
- Fishing gear
