WASTE COLLECTION UPDATE :
- Britstol's Hope - Peddle's Hill off Pond Road - Due to unsafe road conditions, collections scheduled for Mar. 20 did not occur. Collection will take place on the next regular collection day, weather and road conditions permitting.
- Carbonear - East of Bond Street/Highroad North - Collections originally scheduled For Fri. Mar. 27 will now take place on Sat Mar. 28.
- Clarke's Beach, Port de Grave Peninsula, Hodgewater Line - Collections originally scheduled For Fri. Mar. 27 will now take place on Sat Mar. 28.
- Conception Bay Center - Colliers, Marysvale, Georgetown and Brigus Junction 1.6 km - Collections originally scheduled For Fri. Mar. 27 will now take place on Sat Mar. 28.
Southern Shore- Bay Bulls - Collections originally scheduled For Thur. Mar. 26 will now take place on Sat Mar. 28.
Waste Recovery Facilities and Clarenville Transfer Station:
- Bell Island & Cavendish Waste Recovery Facilities - Winter Closure - closing 4pm Thursday, December 18, 2025 and reopening 8am Saturday, April 11, 2026.
Residents please be reminded that waste must be curbside and accessible by 7 a.m. All garbage receptacles must be accessible and cleared of snow. Also note that any roads that are unsafe to travel due to winter conditions may experience delayed collection whereby waste will not be collected until the following week.
