Isthmus and Port de Grave Peninsula Calendar Change Alert:

Isthmus Area (All Communities):

  • Effective May 1 through December 31, 2026, your regular waste collection day will change from Tuesday to Thursday. Recycling weeks stay the same.

Port de Grave Peninsula (All Communities):

  • Effective June 1 through December 31, 2026, your regular waste collection day will change from Friday to Tuesday. Recycling weeks stay the same.

Waste Collection Updates:

  • Southern Shore- recycling originally scheduled for Thursday, May 21st is postponed, due to mechanical issues.  Please check back for updated collection.
  • Bay de Grave, Hodgewater Line - recycling originally scheduled for Friday, May 22nd is postponed, due to mechanical issues.  Please check back for updated collection.
  • Conception Bay Center - Colliers, Marysvale, Georgetown & Brigus Junction 1.6 km -  recycling originally scheduled for Friday, May 22nd is postponed, due to mechanical issues.  Please check back for updated collection. 

Waste Recovery Facilities and Clarenville Transfer Station:

  • Bell Island - Bell Island Waste Recovery Facility - is no longer operated by ERSB.

Residents please be reminded that waste must be curbside and accessible by 7 a.m. All garbage receptacles must be accessible and cleared of snow. Also note that any roads that are unsafe to travel due to winter conditions may experience delayed collection whereby waste will not be collected until the following week. Please check above for service alerts.
