- There will be No changes to the waste collection schedule for the holiday season.
2026 Collection Day Changes:
- There will be No changes to the 2026 collection calendar.
Carbonear:
- Garbage collection for Tuesday, Dec. 23 will move to Monday, Dec. 22.
- Garbage collection for Friday, Dec. 26 will move to Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Clarke's Beach / Port de Grave:
- Garbage collection for Friday, Dec. 26 will move to Wednesday, Dec. 24.
- Garbage collection for Friday, Jan. 2 will move to Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Conception Bay Center:
- Garbage collection for Colliers, Marysvale, Georgetown and Brigus Junction (1.6km) will be collected on Monday, Dec. 22.
- Garbage collection for Salmonier Line and Deer Park-Vineland Road will be collected on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

- Colliers, Marysvale, Georgetown and Brigus Junction (1.6km) will move to Friday’s.
Isthmus:
- Garbage collection for Tuesday, Dec. 23 will move to Friday, Dec. 20.

Pouch Cove:
- Garbage collection for Thursday, Dec. 25 will move to Wednesday, Dec. 24.

- Garbage collection for Thursday, Dec. 25 will move to Tuesday, Dec. 23.
- Garbage collection for Friday, Dec. 26 will move to Wednesday, Dec. 24.
- Garbage collection for Thursday, Jan. 1 will move to Tuesday, Dec. 30.
- Garbage collection for Friday, Jan. 2 will move to Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Trinity Bay South/Center:

Please note holiday closures for waste recovery facilities:
- December 25 and January 1 – CLOSED
- Winter Closures: Please note the Cavendish and the Bell Island Waste Recovery Facilities will close at 4pm on December 18, 2025, for the winter and will reopen 8am on April 11, 2026.
Please note holiday closures for Clarenville transfer station:
- December 24, and 31 – CLOSING AT NOON
- December 25, 26 and January 1 – CLOSED
