The Eastern Regional Service Board (ERSB) will continue to provide fire protection and emergency services to the property owners in Salmonier Line and Surrounding Areas including Middle Gull Pond, South West Pond, The Wilds, Belbin Mill Pond and Old Prison Camp. The annual fee for this service for 2020 will be $60.00.
Property owners will be able to call the provincial 911 Emergency Dispatch to request a response to any emergencies in the area.
Fire protection and emergency services are provided by the Holyrood Volunteer Fire Department. The fire department will answer and respond to all fire, motor vehicle accidents, rescue or other emergency calls in the area.
The goal of the ERSB is to continue to partner with municipalities and local service districts to extend fire and emergency protection to all areas of the Eastern region that do not currently have access to such services.
