Southern Shore Joint Council
The Southern Shore Joint Council (SSJC) is an association composed of representatives of municipal councils and local service districts of the eastern portion of the Irish Loop of the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador whose mandate is:
- To be a regional united voice for municipalities, local service districts and communities of the Southern Shore.
- To provide a forum for discussion among the member communities to relay their activities and concerns.
- To offer an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas about local government and provincial municipal legislation.
