Travelling to a Waste Recovery Facility? Secure your load, its the Law and helps keep our provinces roads litter free

Posted on Jun 11, 2020 | COVID-19 Updates, Public Notices

As the COVID-19 Alert Level in Newfoundland and Labrador was reduced to Level 3 by the Chief Medical Officer of Health on June 8, 2020, bulk waste collection will resume on June 15, 2020. We will continue to work with our contractors to ensure social distancing and personal protective equipment requirements are adhered to.

In response to the reduction of the Alert Level, we have also reopened our Waste Recovery Facilities as of June 2, 2020. These facilities provide residents with the opportunity to drop off nonorganic bulk waste.

We will continue to support all communities under our jurisdiction so we can continue to establish a waste management system that is safe, affordable and provides a tremendous service to all our communities.
